Cumpliendo con todos los requisitos del Pregrado de la Facultad de Ciencias Forestales, Ignacio realizó con éxito su defensa de título, trabajo denominado: “Efectos de Colomerus vitis Pagenstecher Sobre la anatomía y Fisiología de hojas de vitis vinifera L.”; obteniendo el grado de Ingeniero en Biotecnología Vegetal de la Universidad de Concepción.
